Description of Women’s Ministry

The following ministries for women are dedicated programs designed to address the specific spiritual, emotional, and social needs of women, while fostering their spiritual growth as disciples, and providing opportunity for relational connection. They range from formal, structured programs to informal gatherings. They aim to cultivate women’s gifts, provide tailored support across life stages, create a safe environment to foster spiritual growth, fellowship, and mentoring among women. The overarching goal is to help women know, love, and obey Jesus in a way that impacts their families and communities, ultimately strengthening the entire church body.

Outreach

Our women’s missions group engages in projects that serve the local community or global missions. We primarily focus on providing monetary support to lost or hurting women and children and serving others through church fundraising initiatives.

Women’s Day Worship Service:

Helps women discover their unique callings and find meaningful places of sharing their gifts within the church’s overall worship experience. The day empowers women to bring

unique feminine perspectives to church leadership and ensures that women’s voices are heard.

Our Missions

Mission is a focus of Montgomery Square that pervades every aspect of our ministry.  Our church supports local food banks, provides support and gifts to those in need during the holiday season, raises funds for emergency relief following national disasters, and supports regional clothing drives for those living at the margins of society.

  • Hospital Pillowcases for Children
  • Interfaith Hospitality Network:  In collaboration with other churches we provide housing one month a year to the homeless.

  • Recycling – Aluminum
  • Recycling – Ink and Toner
  • Red Cross Blood Drive
  • Short-Term Mission Trips – A contigent of youth and adults are commissioned each summer to a short term mission trip of service outside our local community.

  • Vacation Bible School Outreach
